Custom ArtworkLids offers customers the opportunity to use custom logos or original artwork on an order by digitizing. Digitizing is the process of converting an electronic copy of custom artwork or logos into data that can be read by an embroidery machine computer. The file that is created is called a stitch file. This service is offered to online customers and to customers placing an order at one of our Lids embroidery locations.Price $50.00 non-refundable, one-time setup fee (per image) Setup fee will be waived for orders of 36 or more hats If an e-mail address is provided, the customer will be sent an electronic image of the stitch file within four business days from the date the order was placed. Online Orders Using New Custom Artwork To upload your own image to be used on your order, please click here. You will be asked to browse your computer files for the image (all artwork must in GIF or JPEG format). Once you have chosen the image and entered an image title, click the Upload Artwork button. You will be directed to our Design Lab. Any designs that were currently in the design lab will be replaced with your image. You may also mail in your custom artwork. Only images uploaded through the Lids web site, will be able to be viewed in our Design Lab while placing your order. Mailing in your artwork will add additional time to the production of your order. Please send your artwork to: Lids Attn: Digitizing 7555 Woodland Drive Indianapolis, IN 46278 Online Orders with Previously Digitized Custom Artwork If your custom artwork has already been digitized and used on a previous order, please click on the link below to log into your account and view your custom artwork. View My Artwork In-store Orders Using Custom Artwork Digitizing is also available to customers that are placing an order at a Lids embroidery location. You may either submit your artwork electronically or via mail. Please click here to have your artwork digitized. Please be sure to choose the Lids embroidery location where the stitch file will be sent. You will be contacted by a Lids representative to verify and approve the design submitted. If you provide an e-mail address, you will be sent the file for approval within four business days. We will need your approval before it can be sent to the store for production. If you do not provide an e-mail address or you have mailed in your artwork, the store will contact you for approval when they store receives the digitized artwork. Please remember that it can take up to 3 business days for delivery of the disk to the store (from the date we receive approval). You should work with the store to determine an estimated time for the completion of order. |
